Welcome Back! Our first program will feature Kim Blouin, Director of Marketing for the Van Cliburn organization. She will be speaking to us about the history of the world famous Van Cliburn piano competition, the selection process for competitors, the medalists, their competition journey, and next steps.
October 9
Lyn Scott is the CEO of Guardianship Services, Inc. and founder of the Financial Exploitation Prevention Center. She will be speaking about fraud protection and the common tactics used by scammers, including identity theft and medical identity theft, which can have lasting impacts on your financial security and personal wellbeing. In the spirit of the season, everyone is encourage to wear their favority, socially appropriate costume OR dress in Halloween colors. We will have a prize for the best costume. Sounds like fun.
November 13
Kim Ledbetter from StitchFix will help us discover the must-have style trends for Fall 2025 tailored for mature women ready to refresh their wardrobe. From everyday casual to timeless tailoring, she will inspire us with expert tips and outfit ideas to sail through the season in style.
December 11
Join us for some holiday fun and don’t forget to wear your favorite “ugly Christmas sweater” or favorite holiday outfit. Once again, we will have a prize for the best “ugly sweater”.

Dr. Janice Knebl of the UNT Center for Aging will help us all age a little better while talking about the work they do at the Center for Aging right here in Ft. Worth.
February 12
Ashleigh Adams from nationally recognized retailer J. Jill will be here to share some updated fashion tips with a Spring fashion show. Don’t forget to wear your favorite Valentine attire or tones of pink & red.
March 12
Suzanne Fritz from the Ft. Worth Histoy Center will be speaking about “Beginning Genealogy” and some of the resources available at the Fort Worth History Center. This will be very informative. The Ft. Worth History Center is an amazing place to visit if you’re interested in the history of our city and/or geneaology/ancestry research. They have a wealth of knowledge.
April 9
Kate Snow from CASA of Tarrant County will be speaking about the amazing ways that CASA is able to address the individual needs of children who have experienced traumatic situations, how CASA volunteers provide stability and compassion for these children, and work to provide a powerful voice for change.
May 14
Dr. Lindsay Puente from Ondas will be here. Their mission is to provide the community, and particularly the local underserved youth, with opportunities to interact with cultural and movement arts. Diverse and inclusive histories are represented and uplifted through authentic and educational cultural exchanges.
